Areal planning - New building Golf Club
New maintenance building - Enlargement reception building
The expansion of the Golf Sempachersee to include a second 18-hole course has made it the largest golf club in Switzerland.
This new manifestation is moulded on the one hand out of the country character of the golfing culture of the Sempachersee course, and on the other out of its worldly sophistication. To this end the appearance oscillates between the rural warmth of a timber barn and the clear lines of a Maserati sports car.
Total building floor area: 4,500 m2
Investment sum: CHF 10 million
New watch museum, boutique, main entrance area in the historic building of the IWC. The museum consists of two wings:
West wing: company history and watches 1868 - 1950, animated multimedia presentation of the company's history.
East wing: watches and product families 1950 until today. Highly intricate watches and individual pieces, boutique, middle area with new reception and watchmaker's workshop for public viewing.

Modularly conceived office storeys with individual offices and open interior zones. Standard of internal fixtures approximate to that of a modern five star hotel.

The site for the new four-star hotel directly adjoins the health-resort park next to the Hotel Europe. The strategy consisted of planning the new hotel as a planning layout ensemble with the existing hotel.
The major motif of the new Hotel Kurpark is the five-and-a-half-meter high balcony. Each room possesses such a unique balcony, which take the breath-taking verticality of the surrounding mountain landscape as a theme and make them almost bodily experienceable.
A contemporary interpretation of the grand hotel is created.
Closed competition, 1st price
Campus complex consisting of two office buildings and a conference complex set in a park landscape with unique views over the city of Frankfurt. The complex is a model of campus functions.

The intensity of the views through the glass cube is controlled by the curtains, which are room-high. Depending on the chosen combination, textiles with various layerings and transparency allow only so much to appear as to excite the curiosity of the passer-by whilst simultaneously preventing the private sphere of the customer. Planning and realisation
The spatial idea for the sports bar originated with the fact that one sits or stands in a café or a bar, and that each of these situations be given its own spatial quality. Especially for those sitting, it is not particularly comfortable to be in the immediate vicinity of a bar counter or to have other guests standing close by. This consideration created the idea of horizontally layered spaces. Each relevant height was to leave a spatial-design trace as strips and fixtures on the wall. (for G+S)
Der farbige Kontrast zwischen Stadt und Innenraum ist, zusammen mit der Werbewirkung, das eigentliche Wesen des Objektes. Seine einfache, aber plakative Farbigkeit erzeugt eine ähnliche Wirkung wie die grossen Leuchtreklamen, die in der Nacht die Stadt verzaubern. In diesem Fall wird der Raum selbst zur Reklame. The project for the ground floor of an existing building basically consists of two over-dimensional pieces of furniture. These two pieces - a 12-metre-long sofa and a 9-meter-long bar counter - play around the orthogonality and narrowness of the small space. (for G+S)
